The “Tre Mori” Company has been synonymous with quality and reliability for over sixty years.
The use of scrupulously selected raw materials, production carried on with craftsmanlike care, and constant commitment to quality are the strong point of this expanding firm.
It is one of the not many companies which follow the production of berley at all its stages.
The cereal used by Tre Mori only comes from the crops of the hilly part of Marches; the origin-certified seeds are not genetically modified and the growing is carried out without using chemical substances; finally, the roasting is made slowly and at a low temperature, which gives a product of the highest quality.
Tre Mori has been the first enterprise, among those dealing in the same line, to rediscover a valuable variety of barley, “Orzo Mondo” (hulled barley), which was introduced about early 1900, but was then neglected and replace with other poorer but more profit-bearing varieties.
As concerns the “torrone” (a kind of nougat) by Tre Mori, in the beginning it was made following the recipe of a “Mastro Pasticcere” (Master Confectionery).
In the past Orzo Mondo, the grains of which are hull-free by nature, was used to prepare the “caffè D’Orzo” (literally: “barley coffee”). A drink rich in nutritional values.
The typical “orzo mondo” of the Marches, with belongs to the most valuable variety of barley, has been classified by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry as a “Typical Regional Product”.

Then the business expanded staking on the classic “Torrone Mandorlato” (almond nougat).
He range of product has been since enriched with oher nougat specialities and now it includes a goos 17 different types of “torrone”; nothing less could be expected from a company which works to a high standard of quality and has so many years of experience in this field.
